Golden Childhood

This is an image inspired of my childhood. I was brought up in a big villa in a middle class suburb to Stockholm, and we had a typical kitchen from the 60´s - functional, yellow and friendly. My mother was always cooking, and outside there were fruit trees in a vast garden. It was in a way a Golden period of my life, and I still remember all the details of that kitchen. For me the items of the kitchen has become sacred, and are important sources of my art. That's why the items in the kitchen is gilded, like in icons of the Middle Age.
